Job description

The lab technician will become a part of the laboratory team.  He/she will support the team in sample pretreatment and perform analyses in accordance with prescribed methods and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the entire analytical process, from sample preparation through analysis and reporting results
  • The analyst will become familiar with state-of-art analytical equipment
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of defined areas; keep abreast of state-of-the-art techniques.
  • Exercise laboratory safety practices.
  • Strong commitment to quality and integrity.
  • Must actively participate in the laboratory Quality System

Required knowledge, abilities and skills:

  • Minimal MBO degree in Chemistry or related field
  • Familiarity with analytical techniques
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details
  • Must adhere to strict safety guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Clean and organized in the lab
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, written and verbal including presentation of technically complex data

Terms of employment

  • Employment: flexible for minimum 6 months
  • Working hours: 32-40 hours a week 
  • Salary range:2300-2700
